Schedule:
30-40 hours a week to start. Choice Home Services is looking for a dependable and hardworking Home Technician / Handyman Assistant to assist with residential property maintenance, repairs, and rental property turns throughout the Denver metro area. This position will start as a helper working alongside an experienced technician, with the goal of developing into an independent Home Technician. As you gain experience, demonstrate reliability, and learn our standards, you will have the opportunity to take on your own service calls and eventually operate independently with a company van and tools provided . We're looking for someone who wants to learn the trade, develop their skills, and grow with the company. Responsibilities Assist with general property repairs and maintenance Interior painting, patching, and prep work Basic drywall repairs Basic plumbing repairs Door, lock, and hardware repairs Fixture and appliance installation Rental property turns and make-ready work Cleanouts, demolition, and hauling Loading and unloading tools and materials Picking up materials and supplies Jobsite cleanup Assist with larger repair and renovation projects Learn to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs independently Develop the skills necessary to eventually run service calls independently What We're Looking For Dependable and shows up on time Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Comfortable using basic hand and power tools Able to follow instructions and learn new repair skills Able to work independently once trained Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to lift approximately 50-75 lbs Professional and respectful when working in occupied properties Basic maintenance, handyman, remodeling, or construction experience preferred but not required We are willing to train the right person. Reliability, attitude, and willingness to learn are more important than knowing everything on day one.
