Measurement Specialist

Full Job Description A Window and Door Measurement Technician is responsible for taking accurate, on-site measurements of windows and doors to ensure proper fit, replacement, or installation. This role is critical in both residential and commercial projects, as precise measurements directly affect customer satisfaction and project quality. Measurement Tech typically measures 12+ jobs per day (ranging from 1 to 40+ windows/1-5 doors at a time). Company vehicle issued along with gas card. •

•Core Responsibilities On-site measurements : Measure existing windows and doors for replacement, repair, or installation, ensuring accuracy to the required tolerances.

Inspections :

Inspect contracted work to verify measurements and installation accuracy. Customer service : Communicate clearly with clients to explain measurements, answer questions, and address concerns.

Documentation :

Record measurements, inspect findings, and update project records in a timely manner.

Coordination :

Work with design consultants, installers, and other team members to ensure smooth project flow.

Skills and Qualifications Experience :

Typically, 3+ years in residential window and door installation, with familiarity in vinyl, wood, steel, and fiberglass materials. Technical skills : Proficiency with hand and power tools, measuring equipment, and digital measurement tools.

Communication :

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues. Organizational skills : Ability to manage multiple appointments, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records. Physical fitness : Ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and perform repetitive physical tasks. Physical Demands Walking, climbing, stooping, bending, lifting, and carrying materials. Working in hot or cold weather, sometimes in tight or elevated spaces. Driving a company vehicle for travel between job sites. Typical Work Environment Primarily outdoors, often in residential settings. Monday-Friday. Exposure to weather, dust, and potential contact with insulation or other building materials

Pay:

$225.00 – $250.00 per day People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
