Location Doral Full/Part Time Full-Time Exempt from Classified Service No Minimum Rate 50597.45 Min Pay Frequency Yearly Maximum Rate 77148.69 Max Pay Frequency Yearly Regular/Temporary Regular Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Three years of experience in the repair and overhaul of large internal combustion engines, engine electric systems, solid state electrical controls or automatic electric power transfer devices are required. Must possess a valid CDL/Class A driver license with tanker endorsement. Recruitment Notes Employees in this position perform advanced journeyman level repairs to stormwater machinery and associated mechanical work in all phases of maintenance, troubleshoot repairs, and overhaul of diesel engines, generators, and auxiliary equipment. Shall be able to diagnose, adjust, diesel engines, generators, electrical motors. Ability to follow oral and written instructions, considerable knowledge of the operation of electric generators, motors, large pumps and valves. Ability to keep accurate records of repair, maintenance logs, and operation of stormwater pump SCADA auxiliary controls at the direction of the Systems Supervisor. This position operates specialized equipment and performs other related general maintenance tasks based on departmental needs. Position is categorized as Essential Position, and shall respond to any Critical Infrastructure Disaster and Hurricane Season Activations
