Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a field technician and become a Detention Installation specialist. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining jails, courthouses, youth camps and mental health dorms. Your expertise will ensure systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, providing peace of mind to our valued customers. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of detention locks on different platforms. i.e. Cell doors, sliding devices, electrically operated windows….. Installation of door frames, window frames and dayroom frames into both government and privately owned detention facilities. Demolition/ renovation of existing facilities and the installation of new door frames, doors, windows and other detention items. Installation of metal ceilings within cell dayrooms and passage ways. Prepare and install detention windows (Fire rated, Two way, Bullet proof) in both occupied and new detention facilities. Placement and securing of dayroom and cell furniture per the blue prints or Superintendents specifications. Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools and equipment to job sites; adhere to all safety protocols Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction during service visits. Maintain detailed records of all work performed, daily reports, project reports and utilizing hardware schedules to complete work. Requirements Candidates need to have the ability to travel across state lines and within the states of Florida. Individuals must pass a drug test, motor vehicle back ground check and a criminal back ground check. Individuals with felonies or extensive driving records need not apply. Must be physically able to work in the elements (heat, cold) and the able to lift/carry (50lbs) materials on the jobsite. Individuals need to have the ability to read and understand blueprints for the jobsites. Must have the ability to work with hand tools and power tools. Must have a valid drivers license to operate company vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various conditions Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills combined with a customer-focused attitude Have the ability to complete online classes and operate equipment around the jobsite. i.e. lull, man lifts, scissor lift or boom lift. Noah Detention also offers $50 per diem per day. We also pay for the hotels/ AirBNB and we also provide the tools and safety equipment for the job.
