Job Description
EXPERIENCED PAVER REPAIR TECHNICIAN
$50,000/Year + Overtime | Full-Time | Monday-Friday + 1 saturday per monthPLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
Premier Coatings is looking for an experienced brick paver repair technician to join our team. Hands-on paver repair experience is required. This is not an entry-level position where we will teach someone how to repair pavers from scratch. We can teach the right person our cleaning, sealing, products, and processes. What we need you to already bring to the table is the ability to properly diagnose and complete brick paver repairs. This is also NOT a repair-only position. When repairs are scheduled, you will perform the repairs and then assist the crew with cleaning, sanding, and sealing. On days when no repairs are scheduled, you will work alongside our crews performing normal paver cleaning and sealing work. If you're looking to only perform repairs and nothing else, this isn't the position for you.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Typical responsibilities include: Removing and resetting sunken or uneven brick pavers Re-leveling settled areas and correcting trip hazards Repairing areas where pavers have shifted, separated, or failed Removing and replacing damaged pavers Correcting base and elevation issues before reinstalling pavers Matching existing patterns, elevations, slopes, joints, and transitions Repairing and replacing concrete edge restraints Repairing and replacing loose, damaged, or failed pool coping Removing, cutting, fitting, and replacing pavers as required for repairs Making clean, accurate cuts using masonry and paver cutting equipment Pressure washing and cleaning brick paver surfaces Sanding paver joints Assisting with the application of paver sealers Jobsite setup and cleanup Assisting cleaning and sealing crews when repairs are completed or when no repairs are scheduled Some days may involve several hours of detailed repair and coping work. Other days may involve an entire day of cleaning, sanding, and sealing. You must be willing and able to do both.WHAT THIS POSITION IS NOT
This is NOT a general labor position. This is NOT an entry-level paver position. This is NOT a new paver installation position. (we do not perform installs) This is NOT a repair-only position. This is NOT a supervisory position where you'll simply oversee other employees doing the physical work. Experience with landscaping, construction, concrete, pressure washing, or general labor does not by itself qualify someone for this position. We're specifically looking for someone with real, hands-on experience repairing existing brick paver surfaces.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Applicants must have at least 1 year of verifiable hands-on brick paver repair experience. You should already be comfortable with: Removing an existing paver surface without unnecessarily damaging surrounding material Diagnosing why an area has settled or failed Preparing and leveling the base correctly Reinstalling pavers so the repaired area blends properly with the surrounding surface Making accurate paver cuts Working around curves, edges, drains, structures, and transitions Performing common pool coping repairs Repairing edge restraints and failed perimeter areas If we show you a section of sunken pavers, a failed edge, loose pool coping, or an area requiring several cuts, you should already understand how to approach and complete that repair professionally. If you would need someone to teach you the basics of paver repair, cutting, or coping work, please do not apply for this particular position.PHYSICAL NATURE OF THE JOB
This is a hands-on outdoor position in Florida. The job involves lifting pavers and materials, kneeling, bending, digging, using hand and power tools, operating pressure washing equipment, moving hoses and equipment, and working outside in the Florida heat. Please understand the physical nature of the position before applying.COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
$24/Hr + time and a half for any hours over 40 hours. A typical work week is 42-47 hours. Paid weekly Monday through Friday Full-time, year-round position Overtime opportunities available Overtime paid at time-and-a-half This is a W2 on the books positionBENEFITS

We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing repair work correctly and understands that the finished product matters. At the same time, we need someone who is willing to work as part of the entire crew. There is no "that's not my job" mentality in this position. If today's job requires repairing 300 square feet of sunken pavers and replacing pool coping, that's what we're doing. If tomorrow's schedule is cleaning, sanding, and sealing a driveway, that's what we're doing. If you have legitimate brick paver repair experience, can make professional cuts, are comfortable performing coping repairs, and don't mind jumping in with the crew for cleaning and sealing work, we want to talk to you.TO APPLY
Please include a brief description of your specific paver experience, including: How many years you've worked with brick pavers What types of paver repairs you've personally performed Your experience repairing or replacing pool coping Your experience making paver and masonry cuts Whether you have experience with paver cleaning, sanding, and sealing Applications that do not demonstrate actual brick paver repair experience may not be considered.Pay:
