Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fiberglass Repair Technician to join our team. We Resurface Fiberglass Pools. We will train the right person. You must have a Drivers License and a reliable vehicle. This role involves diagnosing and repairing, Fiberglass pools. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, proficiency in mixing Gelcoat with and without wax, and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment. You must be punctual and come to work every day. If you have a problem working 5 days a week please do not apply. We do work Saturday sometimes but we try not to. There is some travel involved in this job. We do stay out of town for 3-4 nights at a time on occasion. Responsibilities Inspect fiberglass pool shells for damage or deterioration using visual and technical assessments Perform repairs including patching, sanding, gel coating, and finishing to restore structural integrity Use specialized tools and equipment to prepare surfaces for repair work Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and materials used Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all repair procedures Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and improve repair processes Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to fiberglass repair Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship. Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude Effective communication skills for documenting repairs and collaborating with team members Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines. Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude.
