Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Service Technician to join our team, dedicated to delivering exceptional maintenance, repair, and technical support across various industrial and manufacturing environments. In this role, you will be at the forefront of troubleshooting complex equipment, performing precise repairs, and ensuring optimal operation of machinery. Your expertise will help maintain safety standards, minimize downtime, and enhance overall operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about industrial mechanics and technical service to make a significant impact in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters. Perform equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery including HVAC systems, industrial electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and high-voltage components. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery meets specifications and safety standards. Conduct field service operations involving equipment installation, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting in diverse industrial settings. Operate heavy machinery such as scissor lifts safely while conducting maintenance or repairs in elevated or challenging environments. Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze system failures and develop long-term solutions for equipment reliability. Maintain detailed documentation of service activities within Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance history and scheduling future tasks. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by communicating clearly with clients regarding repair procedures and maintenance recommendations. Skills Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage circuits. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding (stick welding), and the use of precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, schematics reading tools. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical blueprint reading, electrical systems troubleshooting, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Ability to operate heavy equipment like scissor lifts safely while performing field service tasks. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance scheduling. Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures quickly and accurately. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work performed and interact with team members or clients. Industrial electrician experience combined with knowledge of low voltage systems, electrical maintenance practices, and high voltage safety protocols. Skilled in equipment repair involving mechanical components such as pumps, motors, belts, gears along with hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting.
