Job Description

PC Repair Technician Job Description Position:

PC Repair Technician Compensation:

$18.00/hr

Responsibilities:

Technical Skills:

General troubleshooting skills for PC and laptop repairs.

Performance:

Ensure department achieves key metrics by repairing computers and performing technical and system diagnostics.

Travel:

Ability to travel occasionally for special projects.

Driving Duties:

Serve as the primary driver for transporting equipment and as a backup driver when necessary.

Requirements:

Background Check:

Clear background and ability to clear Level 2 background check.

Certification:

CompTIA A+ certified (preferred) or equivalent experience.

Technical Proficiency:

Diagnostic and troubleshooting fundamentals. Hardware repair fundamentals. General software troubleshooting skills. Basic networking skills. Navigating OS platforms such as Windows 8, Windows 10, Server 2012, and Server 2016.

Skills and Attributes:

Detail-oriented. Collaborative working style. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service skills. Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal). Creativity and open-mindedness. Receptive to feedback. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with daily quotas.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs consistently. Capability to sit for 5-6 hours a day.

Preferred Experience:

Language Skills:

Bilingual in English.

Technical Experience:

Desktop, laptop, and printer repair skills. Understanding of imaging fundamentals (OS). Knowledge of ticketing and asset tracking systems. Experience with offsite repairs. Familiarity with supply chain workflows. Flexible and adaptable. Understanding of computer deployment fundamentals.
