On-site The Impact You'll Make As a Utility Repair Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of high-quality, oil-free compressors. Your work directly supports consistent production outcomes and customer satisfaction by identifying and resolving issues before products reach the field. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to improve processes, reduce failures, and increase efficiency. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise and problem-solving mindset help drive continuous improvement on the production line. If you enjoy working with machinery, diagnosing issues, and making a real impact on product quality, this is an opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Be Doing Troubleshoot and repair compressors by identifying root causes of test failures and restoring units to production standards Partner with engineers and supervisors to improve first-pass yield (FPY) and prevent recurring defects Process and prepare refurbished and customer-returned units for reintegration into the production line Perform validation and functional testing, including pressure testing and burst testing, to ensure product quality Operate assembly tools and machinery (e.g., hydraulic presses, air wrenches) to support mechanical assembly and production workflows Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace while following all quality and environmental standards What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED, plus 1-3 years of hands-on mechanical or production experience Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and interpret test results to identify issues Experience using industrial tools and equipment in a manufacturing or assembly environment Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, safety, and process compliance Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across production and engineering teams Willingness to obtain or currently possess EPA 608 certification (required within 30 days of hire) What You'll Get from Us We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
