What to Expect

Tesla is currently seeking an experienced Glass Technician to contribute to work on one of the most progressive vehicles in the world. This role involves substantial customer and employee interaction, necessitating not only technical expertise but also a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. The position entails daily travel within the region, as directed by the Mobile Glass Dispatch Team. Membership of our world-class service team requires a dedication to supporting cutting-edge EV technology and accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. What You'll Do

Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools for the servicing of automotive glass components

Collaborate with experienced technicians on inspecting, repairing, and servicing Tesla electric vehicles as needed

Ensure the vehicle Driver's Assistance System is functioning correctly using computer/calibration software when applicable

Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications

Maintain records of time, expenses, and materials

Safely operate company vehicles, communicate professionally with customers and stakeholders, and ensure vehicle cleanliness

Daily regional travel What You'll Bring

Hands-on experience removing and installing glass, primarily windshields; trade school training/ ASEs preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and abilityto follow instructions with attention to detail

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public and multiple internal stakeholders

Ability to quickly adapt to new systems, processes, and a dynamic work environment

Must be comfortable with daily regional travel and operating a large service vehicle

Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities

Valid driver's license required
