ScioTeq offers a small company feel while projecting a big company presence. Our customer support and repair work is very hands-on and collaborative. We are looking for an experienced Electronics Repair Technician to join our team in Duluth, Georgia. If you have strong passion for technology and electronics and proven experience as an electronics repair technician, then read on. Electronics Repair Technician The Electronics Repair Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, reworking/repairing, and upgrading high‑end electronic systems at the component and circuit level for Defense, Avionics, and Air Traffic Control applications. The role includes inspecting and repairing electronic subassemblies, performing functional testing, and documenting all work in compliance with procedures, quality and regulatory standards. The Electronics Repair Technician has the following primary responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, rework/repair, and upgrade high‑end electronic systems, displays, and computing units for Defense, Avionics, and Air Traffic markets, down to component and circuit level, including: o Inspect faulty products to identify defective subassemblies (e.
g., electronic cards, LCDs). o Prepare detailed inspection and maintenance reports with findings for customers. o Order required materials through ERP system. o Verify and implement required product modifications when applicable. o Rework/repair identified electronic cards by replacing defective components. o Perform functional testing to confirm successful resolution of issues. o Document all performed work in accordance with maintenance and quality procedures.
  • Comply with all applicable quality standards, procedures, and company instructions.
  • Register and track non-conformities related to products, processes, and services.
  • Participate in occasional short-term domestic and/or international training or field interventions.
  • Provide product training to internal and external stakeholders as needed. Qualifications
  • Must work onsite in Duluth, Georgia at ScioTeq LLC facility.
  • Must be a US Person.
  • 5 - 10 years' experience as an electronics repair technician in Defense or Aerospace.
  • Technical or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
  • Well-organized with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience using tools and equipment for electronic rework and repair.
  • High proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong passion for technology and electronics.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer-focused mindset and high-quality service.
  • Function as a collaborative team player who promotes continuous improvement and learning.
