Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and motivated team member who can help customers, evaluate devices, complete repairs on iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Windows Laptops, gaming PC's, gaming consoles and assist with the store's daily operations. This is a hands-on position in a small, growing business, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Answer questions about repairs, devices for sale, and our electronics buyback process Inspect and test phones, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles, and other electronics Identify device models, specifications, cosmetic condition, and basic functionality Provide repair and buyback estimates using MarTech's procedures Complete basic electronics repairs based on experience and training Create and update customer repair tickets Process sales, payments, returns, and customer pickups Maintain accurate inventory records Prepare devices for resale by testing, cleaning, photographing, and listing them Package outgoing orders and assist with shipping Answer phone calls, online messages, and customer inquiries Keep the sales floor, repair area, and workstations clean and organized Follow customer-data privacy, device-handling, and store-security procedures Assist with other daily tasks as needed Qualifications Strong customer-service and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and common business software Ability to learn device-testing and repair procedures Strong attention to detail Honest and responsible when handling cash, customer devices, and store inventory Able to stay organized while assisting multiple customers and managing several tasks Comfortable working in a small-business environment where responsibilities may vary throughout the day High school diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation to the Kennesaw location Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful but not necessarily required: Electronics or cellphone repair Computer hardware and troubleshooting Retail sales or customer service Buying, selling, or evaluating used electronics Inventory management eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Shopify, or other online sales platforms Point-of-sale systems and cash handling What MarTech Offers Hands-on experience with a wide range of consumer electronics Opportunities to develop repair, sales, and device-evaluation skills A locally owned work environment with direct access to the business owner Potential for increased responsibility as the company grows Employee discount Performance bonuses or commission Paid training How to Apply Please submit your résumé along with a brief message answering the following questions: What customer-service, sales, technical, or repair experience do you have?
