Job Description
Job Summary RTL Equipment, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time qualified compact / Heavy Equipment technician based out of our Cedar Rapids location in Iowa. Our shop is located East of Swisher on HWY 965. This is a full-time 40 hours per week position with opportunities for overtime available. Wages negotiable and based on Experience.Responsibilities :
- Maintain and repair customer and company owned equipment in both the field and shop
- Proficiently diagnose mechanical, diesel, hydraulic, and electrical issues and codes
- Communicate with Service Managers and OEM Representatives to ensure repair issues are resolved accurately in a timely manner
- Document the repair process and parts needed in the work order
- Follow-up with customers to ensure their machines are working properly post-repair
Qualifications :
- 2-5 years of Technician experience or 2-year technical degree
- Positive attitude and desire to work well with others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current Class D with DOT medical card, CDL, or ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass
