Full Job Description Description:
DPT Service is a regional, independent sales agency for premier HVAC/R equipment representing engineered products designed and customized to meet our customer's specific needs. Headquartered in Urbandale, Iowa we are growing and looking for talented, dedicated people to join our Team.
Requirements:
In this role: Promote goodwill with customers who own, purchase, or specify Data Power Technology Group (DPT) equipment and ensure their customer experience is positive Perform inspections of DPT equipment prior to start-up and commissioning to verify equipment is installed correctly and in accordance with manufacturer's installation guidelines Counsel contractor customers who install DPT equipment incorrectly on proper installation practices Startup, commission, and/or train customers on DPT equipment Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance for DPT Customers Be the technical expert on all DPT equipment Maintain good working relationships with DPT Sales Engineers and customers through verbal and written correspondence What to bring to the role: Working knowledge of refrigeration, VRF, HVAC, and hydronic equipment, specifically in a commercial/industrial application Ability to interact and cooperatively work with a variety of internal and external customers Communicate effectively both orally and in writing Understand and follow oral and written directions Work independently with little direction Meet schedules and timelines while maintaining routine records and reports Routinely lift objects weighing up to 70 lbs. Excellent organization and time management skills Customer service oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn Preferred at least 5 years of experience in HVAC/R Up to 10% travel Licenses and other requirements: Working Dues Member of a Local Plumbers and Steamfitters Union or willingness to join Local Hall Valid Driver's License and clean driving record State of Iowa Journeyperson's License Active EPA Universal Section 608 Certification
