Job Description

Job Summary:
At March Equipment, we are seeking a reliable and versatile Service Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain used kitchen equipment. This role requires strong mechanical and technical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and experience with gas, electric, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and willing to perform field service work when needed. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain used equipment. Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and identify needed repairs. Perform preventive maintenance and equipment refurbishments. Load, unload, move, and safely lift equipment as required. Deliver equipment to customer locations when necessary. Work collaboratively with technicians, warehouse personnel, and management to complete projects efficiently. Service and repair equipment utilizing gas, electric, and refrigeration systems. Complete service reports, repair documentation, and parts usage records. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures. Travel to customer locations to perform field service, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed. Qualifications Experience repairing and servicing commercial or industrial equipment preferred. Working knowledge of gas, electric, and refrigeration systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely lift and move heavy equipment. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and customer service skills. EPA certification or refrigeration experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, push, pull, and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds or more with assistance when necessary. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various environments for extended periods. Ability to travel locally for field service assignments. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience. Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime and field service calls as needed.
