Mobile Service Technician

Job Summary RVMP is seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves traveling to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain RV systems with a strong focus on generator service and repair . The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with RV mechanical and electrical systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer locations to perform on-site RV diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair RV generators and related electrical systems Perform preventative maintenance on generators and other RV components Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system issues efficiently Document service work, parts used, and repairs completed Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment Follow safety standards and company procedures during all service work Qualifications Experience working with RV generators, small engines, or power generation equipment Background in RV service, diesel or gas engine repair, or mobile mechanical service Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently in a mobile field service environment Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various outdoor environments Strong customer service and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Previous RV technician or mobile service technician experience Technical certification or formal mechanical training (preferred but not required)
