Position Summary:

Anistar is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as A/V equipment. MUST be comfortable working from a lift.

Requirements:

Strong experience troubleshooting, terminating, and testing fiber optic cables Proficiency with Corning Unicam fiber termination (preferred) Experience with fusion splicing and/or anaerobic fiber termination methods Demonstrated ability to locate fiber faults and effectively repair issues Working knowledge of analog POTS lines, including using a butt set to trace and verify dial tone Experience supporting fax machines and alarm panels Ability to diagnose and resolve service-related issues independently in the field Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel occasionally (covering a 2-3 hour radius, staying out of town 1-2 days at a time maybe 1-2 times a month) Preferred /

Bonus Skills:

Experience with CCTV systems Knowledge of access control systems Familiarity with paging systems Experience with A/V systems or other low-voltage technologies Anistar
