Job Description
Position Description This position supports the activities and responsibilities of the Finish Department. The role of the towline/offline loader is to ensure all parts are accounted for and checked off to be loaded either on the towline or offline including cabinets/doors/accessories/trim. Job Duties and Responsibilities The primary role of the towline/offline loader is to ensure that all parts are accounted for and in good quality on time to our customers. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Be on time in the area and ready to work at shift start time Be at work every day Report any absence before the shift start Schedule time off by employee handbook Ensure the complete order is loaded together Always load cabinets and doors first Always load trim last for each order Cabinets are to be loaded into the cabinet staging area Do not drag towline cabinets across the towline Doors are to be loaded before cabinets and cabinets married to door number Ensure the numbers are taped over when doors and drawer fronts are loaded Ensure the doors for each cabinet are loaded with the cabinet Use proper technique when handling cabinets to ensure no damage occurs Communicate immediately any shortages to the towline supervisor Report any defects immediately to the team lead and supervisor Log any shortages on the board and book immediately Ensure all parts requiring distressing are done before being loaded Ensure all doors for flatline are delivered per schedule Communicate any delays or roadblocks in meeting on-time delivery Work with other team members When your work is complete help where needed Check with the Supervisor when work is complete Perform proper cleanup each day of the area Job Qualifications and Education Previous work-related skills, knowledge, and experience preferred. Demonstrate skills in organization, planning, prioritization, and time management. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on a timely basis.
