Job Description
Assembler/Repair Technician Pay:
$20.50/hr on w2Shift:
1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)Location:
Danville, KY, 40422 (On-site) Position Summary We are hiring an Assembler/Repair Technician to support the production of aerospace components, including aircraft wheels and brakes. This role involves mechanical assembly, inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure all products meet quality and customer standards. You will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production team. Key Responsibilities Assemble aerospace components using mechanical and electromechanical processes Inspect, clean, and test finished assemblies to ensure quality and compliance Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions Complete required documentation (manual and system-based) for production and quality records Operate hydraulic test equipment and use hand/power tools as needed (training provided) Coordinate with production planning to obtain correct work instructions Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures Participate in continuous improvement and team initiatives Perform physical tasks including walking and frequent lifting throughout the shift Must-Have Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and product specifications Experience with mechanical or electromechanical assembly Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery Basic math skills related to manufacturing processes Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions Good to have Qualifications Technical or vocational training beyond high school Experience with hydraulic test equipment or similar systems Skills & Abilities Good manual dexterity (ability to work with small parts) Problem-solving skills within a production environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain consistent attendance and work variable hours if neededPay:
