This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to quality service. The technician will work closely with clients to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and provide preventative maintenance on equipment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues or malfunctions. Utilize diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter, to troubleshoot and assess equipment performance. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery and equipment. Document all service activities, including repairs made and parts used, in accordance with company protocols. Collaborate with team members to develop effective solutions for complex technical problems. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs and service updates. Skills Elevator, stairlift, vertical lift installation and maintenance experience preferred. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical components. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex machinery and systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques related to equipment servicing.
