2nd Shift | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM | Monday-Friday Job Summary MS Companies is hiring a Tool and Die Repair Technician for an onsite opportunity in Mount Sterling, KY. This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining injection molds to support quality and timely production. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mold repair and machining experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with tight tolerances in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Required Skills & Qualifications- 3-5 years of mold repair experience
- 3-5 years of machining experience
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing injection molds
- Ability to rework or fit new mold components within tight tolerances
- Experience using machining equipment such as a lathe, mill, surface grinder, and micro welding equipment
- Ability to read and understand print drawings
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- High school diploma or GED preferred Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an injection molding environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with 5S practices
- Flexibility to work other shifts as needed Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain injection molds
- Diagnose mold issues and complete corrective actions
- Rework, fit, and replace mold components as needed
- Operate machining equipment including lathe, mill, surface grinder, and micro welding equipment
- Read and interpret print drawings to complete repairs accurately
- Use measuring tools to inspect and verify work
- Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned Physical and Environment Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
- Position requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Ability to grasp, handle, and work with hand tools
