This individual assesses, develops protocol, and resolves maintenance issues to ensure the operability of every store at all times. The home store for this position is based at 2609 Jefferson Hwy, Harahan, LA 70121
What You'll Do:
Resolves maintenance and services issues at RaceTrac and Raceway convenience store locations to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increase the profitability of the company. Ensures each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service. Serves as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage equipment, and petroleum dispensing systems. Accurately maintain tools and inventory on a service vehicle Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to stores. Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed. Maintains knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary. Works with other AST's to cross train in multiple trades
What We're Looking For:
Food and Beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred Technical School training in HVACR or electrical preferred 4+ years work experience preferred Type 1 & Type 2 EPA Certification for refrigerants Experience in a retail maintenance environment a plus General knowledge maintenance and repair procedures a plus Maintenance or repair certifications a plus Basic Microsoft office knowledge Fueled by Growth, Driven by You At RaceTrac, our people make the difference.
