Job Description

We are seeking a skilled water restoration and reconstruction technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for performing demolition work in residential properties following water or mold damage. The technician will work under the guidance of a lead technician and project manager, and is expected to work cooperatively in a team. This is a labor-intensive construction-related position. The technician will be doing demolition work, including tearing out drywall, carpet, tiles, etc., and setting and carrying drying equipment and bags of debris. The technician may also conduct repair work, including drywall, painting, flooring, and trim installation. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow. At least 2 years of water mitigation technician work is preferred, but not required. Residential building experience is also preferred. Pay range depends on experience.
Job Duties:
  • Carry out a scope of work for each job, provided by the project manager
  • Take photos before, during, and after demolition, and after setting drying equipment.
  • Be capable of carrying debris, damaged materials, and equipment from the property.
  • Carry out general repair tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • Be ready, willing, and able to work. Show up on time every day with a good attitude and a willingness to take direction
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and driving record check.
IICRC WTR
certification preferred, not required
Experience:
  • Water Mitigation, 2 years (Preferred)
  • Restoration, 2 years (Preferred)
Job Types:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
