Service Technician

Job Title:

HVAC Service Technician Job Description We are seeking experienced service technicians skilled in mechanical and HVAC maintenance. This role involves traveling to clients in and out of Boston to change dirty air filters, replace belts, and clean coils. Technicians must drive to our headquarters in Wilmington each day to pick up their work truck, as the truck cannot be taken home. Responsibilities Travel to client sites in a company vehicle. Change dirty air filters and belts. Clean coils to ensure efficient HVAC operation. Use hand tools effectively for maintenance tasks. Asset tag equipment after service to signal completion. Essential Skills 6 months of mechanical maintenance experience, specifically with air filters and coil cleaning. Will accept trade school candidates EPA 608 Universal Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience with hand tools. Valid driver's license. Comfortable driving and working from a truck for long periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications HVAC experience is a plus. Comfortable working on ladders. Understanding of preventive maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC installation, and blueprints. Why Work Here? Work Environment The majority of clients are Boston public schools, but services may also extend to pharmaceutical/biotech companies, hospitals, event venues, manufacturing facilities, and office/retail spaces. Technicians will be required to complete a CORI form due to the nature of the clientele. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
