Role Summary We're looking for someone to vacuum cleaner repair and service. The ideal candidate is someone who loves taking things apart and putting them back together. They should be personable and willing to learn. The job will also entail helping customers find bags, filters, belts and other parts and accessories as well as making commission on new vacuum sales. Key Responsibilities Repair and service of many different brands of vacuum cleaners Call customers with estimates for repairs Check in vacuum cleaners for repair and manage over the counter sales Maintain current knowledge of different brands and models Keep the sales floor organized, welcoming, and visually appealing Qualifications A genuine interest in how electrical appliances work Prior retail or POS experience is helpful Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and comfortably move throughout the day Flexible availability to support retail hours What We Offer Competitive hourly wage plus commission potential Ongoing training and education to grow your skills A welcoming, community-driven team environment 90 day review for pay advancement
