- An Exhaust Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining exhaust systems in vehicles. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection and Diagnosis:
- Examine exhaust systems for leaks, corrosion, and damage.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues within the exhaust components.
Repair and Maintenance:
- Replace faulty parts, such as mufflers, catalytic converters, and exhaust pipes.
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed to repair exhaust systems.
Customer Service:
