Baltimore/DC Area The Dunbar Team is growing, and we are looking for a Security System Installation and Service Technician who is ready to bring technical expertise, professionalism, and great customer service to every project. What You Will Do As a Security Systems Technician, you will play a hands-on role in keeping our clients safe by installing and servicing advanced security systems.
Your daily-to-day work will include:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing access control, CCTV, and alarm systems Testing hardware and software to ensure systems perform to the highest standards • Troubleshooting malfunctions and performing emergency repairs • Working with data cabling, electronic door locks, card readers, detectors, and related hardware Upgrading and relocating security equipment to meet evolving client needs Maintaining accurate records of equipment and service work Providing excellent customer service while representing Dunbar in the field What We Are Looking For We are looking for a reliable, skilled candidate that is ready to deliver solutions with professionalism and care. 3-5 years of experience in security system installation and maintenance Knowledge of access control, CCTV, and alarm systems High school diploma (Associate's preferred) Valid driver's license, able to lift 75lbs., and climb ladders Strong communication and problem-solving skills If you are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and making an impact in your community, we want you as a Dunbar Security Solutions team member.
