Installation Technician Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of products, including shelving, bathroom accessories, shower doors, garage doors, blinds, and door hardware. Basic hand drill skills are required for this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality installations.Responsibilities:
- Install shelving units, bathroom accessories, shower doors, garage doors, blinds, and door hardware according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure accurate measurements and precise installation of products to ensure proper functionality and aesthetics.
- Utilize basic hand drill skills to complete installation tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Inspect and troubleshoot installations to identify and resolve any issues or defects.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in installation or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in using basic hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, and measuring tape.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in challenging situations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project requirements.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
