Service Technician - Windows, Doors & Exterior Remodeling Presidential Exteriors — Fairfax, VA (in-person, field-based role)
Salary:

Who You Are You're a skilled tradesperson who takes real pride in a job done right. You know your way around windows and doors, you're comfortable with your tools, and you'd rather fix the problem in front of you than walk away from it. You're dependable, professional in a customer's home, and motivated by the satisfaction of leaving every job looking and working perfectly. What You'll Do As a Service Technician, you're the face of Presidential Exteriors after the sale — the person who makes sure every product we install performs and looks exactly as it should. Install, service, and repair windows, doors, and other exterior remodeling products in customers' homes Diagnose and resolve service issues, warranty claims, and punch-list items on completed projects Perform precise adjustments and repairs so every product functions and looks as intended Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, explaining the work and representing the company well Manage your daily route and service calls efficiently to stay on schedule Complete service documentation, photos, and reports for each visit Keep a clean, safe worksite and take good care of company tools, materials, and your vehicle What You Bring Hands-on experience installing or servicing exterior remodeling products — windows and doors especially Proficiency with hand and power tools, and comfort working on ladders and at heights Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and comfort driving between job sites A professional, customer-first attitude The ability to lift and carry heavy materials and to work outdoors in varying conditions Comfort using a phone or app to log and document service visits Experience with roofing or siding service is a plus What's in It for You Competitive pay: $40,000 - $70,000+ performance incentives 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Up to 4 weeks of paid time off, plus paid holidays Paid parental leave and a wellness program Company truck provided for fieldwork Incentive programs, company events, and career advancement opportunities A team that genuinely believes in your potential Schedule & Location Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with alternating Saturdays Based in Virginia — in-person, field-based role Physical Requirements This is a physically active, field-based role. Candidates should be able to lift and carry materials, climb and work from ladders, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
