Job Description
Overhead Door Company of Portland Maine is looking for a motivated individual to join our commercial installation / service team as an apprentice-helper technician. You will work on a two man crew installing & servicing overhead doors, coiling doors, fire doors, industrial doors, specialty doors, automatic door equipment, loading dock equipment, operable wall partitions. Door industry or Job site construction experience, a strong mechanical background, power tool skills, technical education, welding/ knowledge skills are a plus. Job requires good communication skills both verbal & written, along with the ability to work independently & as part of a team. You will work at various heights from ladders and different types of platform lift equipment. The position requires heavy lifting, and working in various climate conditions.• employment hiring is subject to passing a Pre-Employement physical test given by Concentra Medical.
