Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing equipment within a manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring optimal operation, safety, and efficiency of industrial machinery and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a proactive attitude, and excellent customer service skills to support our manufacturing processes and field service operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems while contributing to the success of a fast-paced industrial environment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters to identify issues accurately. Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage control systems, and high voltage equipment to ensure seamless production flow. Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments and welding techniques, including <

> welding when necessary. Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history. Support field service operations by diagnosing problems on-site with industrial machinery such as scissor lifts or HVAC/R systems. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain safety standards by adhering to electrical safety protocols, working with high voltage systems, and following lockout/tagout procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility or similar environment. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including <
LOCATION
> welding), and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, electrical troubleshooting including low voltage systems, ammeters, and ohmmeters. Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately. Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks, maintenance procedures, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex issues. Knowledge of field service operations involving customer interactions and technical sales support is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork. Industrial mechanic experience combined with strong analysis skills enhances your suitability for this role. Military background or experience in related technical fields is advantageous due to disciplined approach and technical expertise.
