Job Description

Position Summary :
Provide expert service, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy machinery—both in-shop and at customer job sites. When not working independently, will be the lead technician on the jobsite, training and mentoring other technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance & Repair Perform routine inspections, service, and repairs of heavy machinery (hydraulic, diesel, electrical, mechanical systems) to maintain equipment reliability. Equipment Expertise Be subject matter expert on the wide variety of different machines and brands we offer and attend training sessions on new equipment as well as refresher training sessions. Diagnostics & Troubleshooting Use diagnostic tools to identify issues in engines, hydraulics, electronics, and powertrains; disassemble, replace parts, reassemble, and test for compliance. Field & Shop Support Travel to job sites as scheduled or on-call to install, inspect, and troubleshoot equipment; maintain service vehicles and shop tools. Supervision and Mentorship Lead or mentor other technicians, providing guidance on complex repairs and ensuring quality control Customer Interaction Provide on-site training and technical support to operators, handle service calls, communicate repair status, and ensure customer satisfaction. Parts Management & Documentation Order parts, track usage, and complete detailed work orders, service logs, and billing paperwork Safety & Compliance Adhere to OSHA, DOT, MSHA, PPE, and HAZMAT standards; maintain clean and safe workspaces, and ensure proper handling of fuels and fluids.

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
