The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and installation, with expertise in various trades. As a Fireplace Installer & technician, you will be responsible for the installation and service of fireplaces in residential settings, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Install and service fireplaces according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to determine installation requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation tasks. Perform mechanical and electrical work as needed during the installation process. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, masons, and electricians, to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration. Experience Proven experience in construction and gas lines/gas appliances or a related field is essential. Familiarity with construction management, estimating, and inspection processes is highly desirable. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics is required. Experience with various construction techniques such as masonry and carpentry is beneficial.
