Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team and deliver top-tier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing fixtures, and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and system efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse environments, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to property maintenance excellence. A strong foundation in HVAC design, schematics reading, and mechanical knowledge is essential to succeed in this energetic and fast-paced role. Duties Will be on call rotation on weekends with other technicians in our service team. Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment (including ammonia refrigeration), and plumbing fixtures. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct field service visits across various properties to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards. Repair mechanical components using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other specialized instruments. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to uphold safety regulations and operational standards. Drive a driver license to travel between job sites efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Skills 3-5 years minimum in Service experience is a must for this position Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on construction-related HVAC/R systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and appliance servicing. Ability to read schematics accurately and apply HVAC design principles during troubleshooting. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications and property maintenance needs. Experience working in the field service environment with excellent problem-solving skills. Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices. Mechanical aptitude combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. Valid driver license for safe transportation between work sites.
