Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Service Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing manufacturing operations. In this energetic role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of industrial equipment and systems within manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure smooth production processes, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service and technical support. Duties Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems using schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments to identify issues accurately Read electrical blueprints and schematics to guide repairs and installations effectively Troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical systems safely in accordance with industry standards Operate field service equipment including scissor lifts and other access tools to reach elevated or hard-to-access machinery Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, parts inventory, and service history Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze system failures and implement long-term solutions for continuous improvement Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols Follow all safety procedures related to industrial maintenance, welding (including welding), HVAC/R systems, and electrical diagnostics Qualifications Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities with strong mechanical knowledge and industrial mechanic expertise Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, electrical blueprint interpretation, and troubleshooting pneumatic systems Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and precision measuring instruments Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management is highly preferred Strong analysis skills with the ability to diagnose complex electrical or mechanical issues efficiently Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately; experience with engineering troubleshooting is a plus Valid certifications or experience in industrial electrician work; high voltage experience is advantageous Excellent customer service skills combined with clear communication in English; military background or discipline is a plus Field service experience within manufacturing environments is highly desirable Join us as a Service Technician to leverage your technical expertise in a vibrant environment dedicated to innovation, safety, and excellence.
