Local Union 1940 is actively seeking experienced journeyman glaziers in or near Raleigh, NC who take pride in precision work and know their way around commercial glass installation. What We're Looking For 4+ years of professional glazing experience Strong proficiency with caulking , sealants, and commercial glazing systems Confidence working with a wide range of glazing materials, tools, and hardware Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately Physical stamina for lifting, setting, and installing large units A commitment to clean, safe, high‑quality workmanship Apprentice-level workers with solid fundamentals may also be considered — we're always looking for motivated people ready to grow in the trade. All candidates must be able to pass a drug screening. What You'll Be Doing You'll be installing glass in commercial environments where precision matters — storefronts, curtainwall, entrances, interior systems, and more. You'll be part of a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and getting the job done right the first time.

Compensation Journeyman Total Package:

$41.45 Apprentice rate: determined after skill evaluation This is a strong union package with the stability, benefits, and respect that come with being part of Local 1940.
