Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Fire Extinguisher Service Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and servicing a variety of fire extinguishers in compliance with NFPA codes and standards. We offer a hands-on apprentice training program to help you build the skills needed for long-term success in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, maintenance, and servicing of portable fire extinguishers. Use power tools to complete installations, repairs, and related tasks. Work directly with clients to ensure systems meet their specific needs. Conduct onsite fire extinguisher inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations. Clearly communicate inspection results and recommend appropriate solutions to customers. Maintain and operate a company-provided service vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
Requirements:
Ability to pass the
ICC/NAFED
Fire Extinguisher Technician Certification test within 90 days of employment. Skilled in the safe use of power tools for installation and repair work. Physically capable of walking up to 1 mile and lifting up to 70 lbs. Valid NC driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and customer service skills.
