As a leader in renewable energy solutions, International Wind is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Composite Technician•Level III to oversee and safely execute advanced wind turbine blade repairs. This role is crucial for maintaining the structural integrity and performance of our turbines. The position demands a high level of expertise, leadership, and the willingness to travel extensively.
The following experience is required:
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with IW EHS and Site Safety Requirements. Effective communication with customers, site project teams and IW Corporate office. Daily Planning, including job safety assessments, rigging and lift plans, status reporting including timesheet and quality requirements. Initial inspection of scope of work requests and effective communication with IW Engineering on repair plans and additional work, as required. Execution of repair plans in accordance with OEM, Site and IW policies and procedures and budget requirements. Support the development of the final repair report, including all inspection hold points, approvals and final acceptance. Maintain all vehicles, tool trailers, and equipment in accordance with IW policies and procedures.
