Winston-Salem, NC Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM +
On-Call Rotation Pay:
Competitive pay based on experience Position Summary Forsyth is seeking an experienced and motivated Septic Service Technician to service residential customers throughout the Winston-Salem and Forsyth County area. This role focuses on diagnosing and clearing drain and sewer stoppages inside and outside of homes while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and clear residential drain and sewer stoppages using professional drain cleaning equipment Operate drain machines safely and efficiently Pull and reset toilets as needed Disassemble and reassemble sink drain lines and related plumbing components Perform work both inside and outside residential properties Use an iPad and company software to: Prepare service tickets Upload photos Enter detailed job notes Collect customer payments Hook up, tow, park, and back up a jetter trailer Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours calls, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Cross-train in other service areas to assist the team when needed Qualifications Previous experience as a Rooter Technician or Drain Technician Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to safely tow and maneuver a trailer Comfortable using tablets/iPads and mobile service applications Ability to perform physical labor and lift equipment as required Preferred Skills Experience with jetting equipment Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Willingness to learn and grow within the company Compensation & Benefits Pay based on experience Consistent weekday schedule On-call pay opportunities Training and cross-training opportunities Supportive team-oriented work environment
