Job Title:

System Repair Technician (Testing)

Pay Rate:

$22•24/hr

Job Summary:

The System Repair Technician is responsible for receiving, inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and processing returned products. This role ensures products are accurately evaluated and repaired while maintaining a clean, organized work area and an inventory of replacement parts for both current and legacy product lines.

Responsibilities:

Prioritize activities independently based on legacy and current product repair inventory, internal and external customer needs, and the queue of returned products awaiting processing. Perform diagnostic testing on mechanical and electronic equipment, including but not limited to controllers, and other components as needed. Repair, scrap, or accept products "as is" after diagnostic testing and root-cause analysis. Create and send itemized invoices for repair work. Quickly and accurately update CRM records in accordance with company processes Research and obtain necessary equipment specifications, test procedures, diagnostic information, and any required documents and guides for processing. Perform equipment hardware and software configurations independently as needed. Catalog and inventory all products returned for repair while maintaining a clean, well-organized, and efficient work area. Maintain an inventory of standard replacement parts and submit purchase requisitions to ensure minimum inventory levels are stocked. Lead standard and project-specific work groups as needed. Follow all safety and ESD procedures to ensure personal and product safety. Align performance with assigned KPI goals, both individually and for the team. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous electronics testing experience preferred Must have a broad understanding of computer repair/assembly. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, wiring schematics, and procedure manuals Adept at problem-solving and troubleshooting computer hardware and or software-related issues
