In this role, you will specialize in restoring vehicle panels by removing dents and dings without the need for repainting or extensive bodywork, utilizing advanced PDR techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with auto body repair, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. Paintless Dent Repair Technician Duties Perform paintless dent repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring minimal invasiveness and maintaining original paint integrity Use specialized tools such as reflection boards, knock-downs, and glue pulling techniques to access and reshape dented panels Assess damage to determine the most effective repair approach, providing accurate estimates for repair time and scope Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and meet quality standards Assist with minor auto body repairs including sheet metal work, auto glass replacement, and auto painting when necessary Utilize welding, soldering, MIG welding, fabrication skills, and auto restoration techniques as needed for complex repairs Conduct vehicle inspections post-repair to ensure quality control and customer satisfaction Support vehicle maintenance tasks such as detailing, auto estimating, and general mechanical troubleshooting when required Paintless Dent Repair Technician Requirements 1 year experience required in dealership environments or automotive repair shops specializing in auto body repair or PDR Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding (including MIG welding), soldering, and airless paint spraying equipment Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle structures, sheet metal work, and auto restoration processes Familiarity with auto glass replacement, auto painting techniques, and auto estimating software Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including vehicle maintenance and assembly processes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair details clearly Prior experience with heavy lifting equipment or fabrication is advantageous If you are passionate about automotive repair, possess a comprehensive skill set in auto body work and PDR techniques, and thrive in a dynamic environment committed to excellence, we encourage you to apply today.
