Service Technician/Welder

Job Summary:

Sandia Trailer is seeking a skilled trailer tech/welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on trailers, including brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, fabrication and more. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of trailer types and be able to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently. Welding certification a plus.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with trailers Perform routine maintenance on trailers including- horse trailers (as well as living quarters), dump, utility/flatbed and cargo trailers. Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, including brakes, bearings, and suspension components, repair or replace jacks/dollies and awnings. Perform welding and fabrication work as needed, including but not limited to repair or replacement of decking, skin and roofing. Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems, RV/living quarter components. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently Experience with welding and fabrication Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Schedule Tuesday through Saturday 8 am to 5 pm.

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour
