Job Description
Overview We are seeking an Agricultural Service Technician — Utah & Nevada Join our team servicing farms and growers across Utah and Nevada. We're hiring full-time Agricultural Service Technicians to install, maintain, and repair farm machinery and lite construction equipment. Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, engines, pumps, valves, controllers, and related field machinery
- Record repair details, maintain repair/maintenance records, and calculate billings for labor/time/parts
- Disassemble/reassemble equipment, replace worn or defective parts, fabricate new metal parts, and tune/overhaul engines
- Test and replace electrical components and circuits using meters, soldering, and hand tools
- Perform welding (arc, MIG), brazing, cutting torch/plasma cutter work, and machine-shop tasks (drill press, machining)
- Service company vehicles, drive trucks to job sites, move large objects with heavy equipment, and maintain parts/tools inventory
- Communicate with customers, read inspection reports and work orders, and follow supervisor assignments. Qualifications
- Prior experience in agriculture, irrigation, mechanical, or electrical service preferred
- Welding, brazing, machining, and metal fabrication experience strongly preferred
- Ability to use hand tools, test meters, diagnostic equipment, and welding equipment
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in varied weather, and travel within assigned territory
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, and customer communication skills Pay
- Starting wage: $23
- 25/hour (depending on experience)
- Experienced technician: $25
- 30/hour (depending on experience and prior work) Benefits (customize as needed)
