Power Your Career with Trinity Solar Trinity Solar is looking for a skilled and motivated Solar Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring our customers' solar systems continue to deliver clean, reliable energy. From troubleshooting and repairs to customer education and system optimization, you'll be the problem-solver who keeps solar power shining bright. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting skills, electrical knowledge, and a commitment to excellent service. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform corrective maintenance on residential solar electric systems. Install, maintain, and repair communication systems for solar inverters (cell cards, hard lines, LAN connections). Adapt quickly to last-minute schedule changes to handle urgent service calls. Manage daily appointments efficiently to maximize productivity. Interact with homeowners and team members, providing professional, courteous, and knowledgeable support. Document all service work with photos, detailed notes, and system updates. Coordinate warranty claims, repairs, and replacements directly with inverter manufacturers. Maintain safety standards while working on rooftops and with electrical systems. Qualifications & Experience 2+ years of PV installation, solar service, or technical field experience. Strong electrical troubleshooting experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret 3-line diagrams, plan sets, and equipment specifications. Familiarity with NEC codes preferred. Proven ability to research, analyze, and resolve technical issues quickly and resourcefully. Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and in-person. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Must be able to lift and carry 40+ lbs and work safely on residential rooftops. Prior solar experience preferred, but candidates with strong technical skills from related trades (electrical, HVAC, telecom) are encouraged to apply.
