Full Job Description Service Department:
The position responsibilities include, but not limited to; Meet and greet incoming customers to initiate work order openings, discuss issues to address, collect contact information, confirm time frames for needed repairs, and review warranties. Direct personnel to take photos and tag the unit. Make and take calls regarding repair status Create estimates based on the technician's notes, evidence, and provided parts list. Decipher payment responsibility (customer, warranty, & internal) Dispatch jobs to the appropriate technician to diagnose and write up requested and suggested repairs using statements, photos & parts lists. Present estimates via email or phone call, getting proper authorization. Discuss and explain the repairs and the timeframe for completion. After approval, enter parts on the repair order, backorder parts to regular shipping terms unless the customer or policy supports more expedited shipping. After all parts have been received, dispatch the job back to the technician responsible for completing the authorized work. Upon technician completion and testing, organize the final work order to present to the customer and arrange machine pickup or delivery. Work hours are between 6:30 am & 3 pm, Monday-Friday. The candidate must be friendly, reliable and must be detail oriented. Also, must have strong organizational & communication skills. Experience in a mechanical service industry preferred. Bilingual a plus. Must be proficient using Microsoft Office; will train on our business system.
