The job duties involve assisting with rental check-in procedure and quality control of a large inventory of cameras, lenses, and support equipment. This is a hands on position thus a knowledge of basic tools and the ability to use them is a plus. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are required. Prior rental house experience is preferred but not required. Experience in electronic repair, camera equipment repair or IT / web development are also skills we would be interested in. This position is a technical position, not a creative one; we prefer candidates with a strong technical background as opposed to someone who is seeking a future in filmmaking and set work. Strong communication, computer and customer service skills are required. You must be computer literate, attentive to detail and have strong organizational skills. Positive attitude and high energy are a plus. We are looking for people who want to grow with the company and to help the company succeed. The typical work schedule is 8:30a - 6p, Monday through Friday. Overtime hours are allowed and you may be asked to stay late or come in during the weekend if necessary. Frequent tardiness and absence or poor work ethic on the job will not be tolerated. Pay is commensurate with experience, increasing based on skill, speed and aptitude for growth. 401k Profit Sharing, health insurance with vision and dental benefits, paid holidays, vacation time and transit cards are available.
