Job Description

Description As a Pool Service Technician, you'll be creating aquatic joy, tackling everything from repairs, installations, renovations and cleaning. Whether you're fixing a pool or transforming it into a shimmering oasis, every day is a chance to show off your skills! Why join us? $22-35 per hour, depending on experience. $175 annual footwear allowance after 60 days. Access to a company vehicle during the day to drive to your customers. Excellent benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k) match. Flexible schedule with an 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday, starting at 7:30 a.m.
Basic Functions:
Position requires at least one (1) year or more of hands-on experience and extensive knowledge related to; troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electrical and heating/cooling (HVAC) equipment and plumbing. Must maintain a neat, clean appearance and demonstrate polite, professional behavior.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service Accessory installation and maintenance Perform jobs and make decisions independently Pool and spa equipment Service/Repairs/Installations Ability to follow safe operating procedures. Communicate with the customer regarding all services performed and clearly present all options for any required repairs or upgrades
Problem-Solving Activities:
Ability to diagnose and repair pool equipment Ability to make independent decisions while acting in the best interest of the company as well as the customers Skills Basic customer service skills Detail oriented Advanced technical/mechanical skills Problem solving and organizational skills knowledge of operating, maintaining and repairing pool equipment Ability to clearly present all options for any required repairs, upgrades or other customer needs
Preferred:
Plumbing and electrical knowledge
Requirements Education and Experience:
Highschool diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in plumbing, repair industry, HVAC or pool/spa industry.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to frequently push or pull objects weighing up to 50lbs Requires the physical ability to use hands, arms, feet and legs for repetitive movements, bending, squatting and reaching. Requires the physical ability to function in exposure to marked changes in Midwest temperature including humidity, rain, snow and cold and exposure to chemicals. Requires driving a vehicle with acceptable driving record.
