1st shift - Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM Company Overview Tremcar USA is a leading tank trailer manufacturer in North America, serving nearly 5,000 customers in its factories, which are in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Quebec), St-Cesaire (Quebec), London (Ontario), Strasburg (Ohio), and Haverhill (Massachusetts). We specialize in producing high-quality tank trailers and trucks for the transportation of various liquid and dry products. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Service Tech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and testing tank trailers. Key Responsibilities- Program trailers ABS system and troubleshoot/ repair.
- Test trailer brake response times and troubleshoot/ repair.
- Perform external visual inspections and make repairs.
- Perform proper pressure test and make repairs.
- Perform proper leak tests and make repairs.
- Perform DOT required inspection.
- Accurately document all test results.
- Inform the Quality Control Manager of reoccurring issues so corrections can be made to production.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Follow all safety procedures including but not limited to wearing the proper PPE and fall protection equipment. Qualifications
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Self-Motivated and willing to work daily.
- Ability to interpret and follow written procedures.
- Bending, lifting, sitting, standing, and climbing ladders for 10 hours/day.
- Willing to work on elevated surfaces and confined spaces as needed.
- Ability to be productive in both solo and group work environments.
- Stainless and aluminum welding a plus.
- Experience in trailer/trucking industry is preferred but not required. Benefits
