The right candidate will be loved by clients, respected by crew members and feared by disorganization. We grade culture fit, aptitude and attitude above experience, but proven Mac technical skill is a meaningful accelerator. Apple users strongly preferred. This role involves working with customers 50%+ of the day in its initial scope, with the share of technical work growing as skills develop. This year-round position can scale from 15-40 hours/week, Monday-Saturday. We strongly prefer a 9:30 AM start time to cover store opening. Our greatest coverage needs are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays — applicants available those days will receive priority consideration. Full-time applicants (35+ hours) are given strong preference, as this track offers the most growth opportunity, including future management potential. Part-time applications (15-20 hours) are welcome from candidates with proven Mac technical or repair experience.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
shape the customer experience: provide customers with enthusiastic & professional front-counter, phone and written interactions, check in/out customer equipment with precision, process sales, offer basic triage-level technical assessments, call clients with repair status updates and to present estimates, clean client computers, prep the storefront for opening, maintain store appearance, restock retail displays serve the team: accurately document client needs for technicians, prepare resale Macs (testing, software install, cleaning), evaluate & test trade-in candidates and refurbishment units, proactively identify issues, assist with back-office organization, contribute positivity to a happy workplace grow your knowledge: develop technical support and terminology skills while building toward higher-tier Mac repair competence expand your role (as time and ability allows) : refurbish resale Macs end-to-end, provide billable Tier-1 customer repairs with a path to more advanced services, streamline procedures, take on administrative and operational responsibilities, assist the Owner on cross-functional projects, help grow the business, contribute your unique skills, future leadership potentialTO QUALIFY YOU MUST HAVE
