This energetic role combines retail sales with hands-on equipment repair, allowing you to engage with customers, troubleshoot complex issues, and restore devices to optimal performance. Your enthusiasm and technical expertise will help create a seamless experience for customers seeking solutions for their mobile devices, computers, and operating systems. Duties Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products or services to enhance their technology experience Assist customers in selecting mobile devices, accessories, and related equipment, emphasizing features and benefits to drive sales Diagnose hardware and software issues on various devices including Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and other operating systems Perform repairs on mobile devices, computers, and peripherals using hand tools and soldering techniques when necessary Troubleshoot software problems by analyzing system errors, reinstalling operating systems, or updating firmware to ensure device functionality Provide technical support in the field or in-store by guiding customers through troubleshooting steps or performing on-site repairs when required Experience Proven experience in retail sales within the electronics or technology sector is highly preferred Hands-on repair experience with mobile devices, computers, or consumer electronics is essential Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, Windows; familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for equipment repair and analysis skills in hardware diagnostics Competence in using hand tools and soldering equipment for precise electronic repairs Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers of varying technical backgrounds Prior field service or technical support experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend sales expertise with technical mastery.
